Why can't I buy a loaf of bread on a Wednesday?

Each batch of sourdough takes three days to make from the start to finish. It's a long, slow fermentation that delivers the flavourful, nutritious bread we enjoy and feel proud to make.  The first stage of this process begins every Tuesday, meaning that the first bread of the week is available each Thursday. Bread is baked every day from Thursday morning through to Sunday morning.

We offer an 8 week bread subscription service which can be purchased through our online shop. This service sees a country loaf is guaranteed just baked and ready for you to collect from the bakery every week for 8 weeks on your chosen day. Days available to collect subscriptions are Thursday and Friday (8:00am-1:30pm) or Saturday and Sunday (9:00am-1:30pm).

Once you have placed your order for a subscription we will contact you to let you know when your first loaf will be ready to collect.

Can I pause my bread subscription if I am away for a week or unable to collect on a given week?

Yes! Simply let us know at least a week in advance if you plan on being away and we will pause your subscription for that week. If for any other reason you are unable to collect your loaf please do let us know and we can arrange an alternative collection date.

We handle wheat, gluten, eggs, milk, peanuts, tree nuts, sesame and mustard at the bakery. We are unable to guarantee that there is zero trace of any of these allergens in our products.

Please let us know if you have any allergies before purchasing from us. If you are at all unsure about the allergen content of any of our products please ask.

We do not offer any of our products for wholesale. The bakery is the only place you can purchase what we make.

If you would like to order a cake for a special occasion please get in touch via the email address - hello@novabakehouse.com with as much information as possible regarding what you are looking for, how many portions you would like to serve and when exactly you would like to collect. If we have availability we would be happy to bake for you. Please note that it is unlikely that we can bake to order with less than 10 days notice.

Can I order bread, pastries, buns or bakes in advance to collect on a specific day?

Yes! Where possible we will bake items from our core range of bakes to order. We recommend giving as much notice as possible to allow us to plan it into the production schedule. Whether it's a special event, birthday, wedding, office fuddle or business meeting, we 're happy to take orders, please email hello@novabakehouse.com with your requirements and the date you wish to collect or pop in and see us at the bakery.
